Yeah, I know, but I can’t make a list of manifestation habits and don’t mention the power of manifestation!

It’s clearly the most important habit to bring us back into the present moment – where all the magic of life happens.

We only attract and create our reality in the present moment. The future doesn’t exist. Whatever you desire from life you can only create now.

Universal Intelligence can only work through you if you allow it. As long as you keep on having thoughts like: “I better do this on my own.”, “What if…”, or “Why isn’t it here yet, I must’ve done something wrong.” – the Universe responds giving you exactly that. Find a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Imagine a deep violet light circle at the top of your head.

With each breath you take the circle gets bigger and bigger and the violet light becomes clearer and brighter.

Grow the circle with your breath until your whole head is filled with radiant violet light.

Hold the circle for a couple of minutes and feel how its light is cleansing the energy in your crown chakra.

All stuck energy gets washed away and is replaced by the deep trust in a higher power arranging your life in the best possible way.

In addition, you could combine this visualization technique with chanting the mantra OM, speaking the affirmations from above or listening to the crown chakra frequency.

Find a comfortable position. Close your eyes.

Imagine an indigo light circle between your eyebrows.

With each breath you take the circle gets bigger and bigger and the indigo light becomes clearer and brighter.

Grow the circle with your breath until your whole forehead is filled with radiant indigo light.

Hold the circle for a couple of minutes and feel how its light is cleansing the energy in your third eye chakra.

All worries about the future get washed away and are replaced by the deep trust that your life is unfolding into the best possible outcome.

See yourself embodying your highest version in your inner eye. Feel the scene with your whole body.

Healing The Throat Chakra

When the throat chakra is out of balance, we feel like we don’t live aligned with our truth. Something is restricting us from authentically expressing ourselves.

This can be the result of being afraid to communicate our boundaries to others, to speak up for ourselves, or to face opposing views when we share our thoughts.

We want to fit in, so we put on a mask and tell people exactly what they want to hear from us to be liked.

We neglect our truth and values to not feel excluded.

In the cases above it’s common that when we speak, we do that in a tone that is avoiding conflicts at all costs.

In communication, the other person is mostly leading the conversation and we are often on the listening side.

But the imbalance can also show itself in the opposite way.

That’s the case when we are talking all the time in conversations and don’t let the other person share their thoughts.

We are so focused on sharing all our opinions that we don’t even care who we talk to.

We somehow force the other person to be the listener.

When other people talk, we often lose focus on what they say because we already think about the next thing we want to bring into the conversation.

This can even lead to interrupting our conversation partner mid-sentence.

Another form of imbalance is gossiping.

Talking negatively about someone behind their back is a sign of undealt things that bother us within ourselves.

Having other people reflect that back at us can cause things to come to the surface we so desperately try to avoid.

In some cases, the imbalance may stem from growing up with the feeling that our words don’t matter.

That our opinion isn’t valid, not considered or dismissed. Dealing with those feelings over a long period of time affects us in adulthood as well.

We feel like our opinions are worth less than the ones of people who carry themselves with confidence.

Healing The Heart Chakra

When the heart chakra is out of balance, we live life way more with the head than in alignment with our inner knowing. It’s hard to access deep-rooted feelings and life feels a little dull. Lifeless.

If we don’t even have full access to our own emotions like deep love and appreciation it’s even harder to have empathy and compassion for others.

It takes a lot to make us feel. Situations that break through the wall that’s around the heart are either incredibly sad moments or moments where we feel deep gratitude for something or someone.

Due to the lack of empathy, it’s harder to build meaningful connections and that could lead to self-isolation.

We can’t find the love we seek in others because we haven’t yet found the right way to show it to ourselves.

Often unforgiveness for past mistakes hardens our hearts and makes us feel like we don’t even deserve our own love.

Furthermore, childhood experiences come into play when it comes to closing the heart. Repeating painful situations experienced at a young age eventually leads to numbing the heart because it just can’t bear the pain anymore. As children, we didn’t have the resources to process strong negative emotions in a healthy way. 

A simple survival coping mechanism is to withdraw and detach ourselves from what’s happening.

Later on, in adult life, it’s still difficult for us to share our deepest selves out of fear of rejection.

When we come across people who like us (on a surface level), we often get overly attached to them because they show us some love.

Although those connections aren’t always the healthiest, we tend to stick with them because we still get attention and think we don’t deserve better or find someone else who will love us for who we truly are.

We’ve learned how to hold ourselves and how our hearts desire to receive love. Giving love to ourselves becomes intuitive and we only settle for relationships that make us feel as loved as we love ourselves already. 

We know what’s best for us based on how connected we are with our hearts. This means we don’t just take facts and figures into account but also how the situation makes us feel deep down in our hearts.

Visualization

Find a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Imagine a green light circle in the center of your chest.

With each breath you take the circle gets bigger and bigger and the green light becomes clearer and brighter.

Grow the circle with your breath until your whole chest area is filled with green radiant light.

Hold the circle for a couple of minutes and feel how its light is cleansing the energy in your heart chakra.

All blocked emotions are set free and flow freely out of you. Emotional imbalances get washed away by the strong green light you’ve created.

In addition, you could combine this visualization technique with chanting the mantra YAM, speaking the affirmations from above, or listening to the heart chakra frequency.

Repeat this practice whenever you feel drained and far away from others during your day.

The root chakra is the first of the seven chakras sitting at the base of our spine.

We all know there are a lot of things that can cause our day to have a turn in a way we may not intended to.

A tiny second where we suddenly find ourselves in an unfortunate situation, or we have one of those days where nothing seems to go right.

Sometimes we just feel tired and drained for no apparent reason. Our energy levels are low and we can’t motivate ourselves to do anything.

Focus On What You Can Control

The ultimate goal is to accept what we can’t control and start focusing on what we can.

Changing our deeply ingrained thoughts and behavioral patterns when things get hard is not always that easy.

It all starts with bringing objective, non-judgmental awareness to your situation.

Your feelings are valid.

You can get some relief by asking yourself if that thing will still matter to you in a year.

If worrying is worth skipping over all the positive (or at least neutral) moments you could have instead.

Who comes to your mind when you think about the person you’ve had a very good conversation with in the past?

Was it your best friend? A colleague? A family member?

Call or meet someone who lights you up. Someone you’re always looking forward to talk to. Someone who always finds encouraging words for you no matter how bad you feel.

Try to be that person described above for yourself. Find gentle words and encourage yourself to keep going. Better times will come.

Right now, what brings light into your world? It can be the tiniest thing. Focus on what makes you feel good and it will expand.

Oftentimes when we find ourselves in difficult phases of our lives, we resist what brings the most healing. Try to release that resistance and do what you know is making you feel peaceful.

Write It Out

What is weighing on your mind? To get it out of your head you could use a journal and bring your thoughts on paper.

It’s easier to see what’s going on when it’s tangible in front of you. While you write it all down you simultaneously process the emotions around your issues and can find a more objective and solution-oriented perspective afterward.

Some journal prompts for you:

  • What is weighing on my heart right now?
  • How does it make me feel (be specific)?
  • Are there other situations I can think of that made me feel the same way?
  • Is there a pattern I keep playing out?
  • Why do I feel the need to react that way? Is there a hidden purpose/gratification I get from this pattern?
  • How do I want to show up in the future? What would my true self do in situations like this?
  • How can I show myself the love I try to get from others?

Take your time answering these questions and be very honest with yourself. That’s the only way to break patterns and get out of roles you played for years.

It’s time to release all the masks and embody who you truly are.

The healing journey is a very personal one and takes patience, endurance, and above all self-compassion.  

It’s a life-long process but it gets easier once you know how to deal with uncomfortable emotions. Feel it all right away and show yourself love in the moments you need it the most.

Visualization

Find a quiet place, calm down, and close your eyes. Try to imagine a scene from your desired life. A life that feels true to who you really are beyond the masks you put on for other people.

Allow yourself to be very specific. (What are you wearing, who is with you, where are you, what does the room look like, what can you smell, what do you hear,…).

Include all your senses when you visualize to make the scene as real as possible. Trick your mind into believing that this is truly happening right now.

Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between real-life experience and visualization as long as you feel it with your whole being.

Be certain that you can have your desired life throughout the whole day and your subconsciousness will start to match your reality with what you experienced in your mind.

For an extra boost, you can also listen to high-vibe music while you imagine your dream life. For some, it’s easier to tap into the emotions that way. Just give it a try!

Instead of repeating over and over again what went wrong or could potentially go wrong in the future, you could use that energy to sit or stand in front of a mirror and repeat affirmations.
